REBECCA AGUIRRE
​Rebecca is a life long learner with a strong passion for the arts which began in childhood as a young performer in the UK. Her first encounter of theatre was as a dancer/singer with the Valerie School of Dancing where she remained for over two decades, eventually becoming a soloist and choreographer. As a child she also trained at the Arts Education School full time.
As a younger adult she completed her BSc(Hons) degree in Computer Science which led her to spend some years working for top international IT companies (teaching her the important of hardwork and professionalism), whilst completing her dance teacher qualifications at the Linda Sweetcher Teacher Training College where she trained with well-known fellowships of the ISTD.

She left the corporate world and founded her own school teaching dance and drama called Surrey Performing Arts in 2013 and has gained many valuable lifeskills including brand management and all the many areas of running a performance business.

Whilst teaching Rebecca constantly persued continued professional development and became highly qualified in many areas of dance teaching. Eventually deciding to return to acting. After attending Saturday school classes and private coaching at the Guildford School of Acting, she then enrolled on their BA(Hons) Theatre Conversion degree, this then led to her successfully auditioning for the MA Acting degree there also, graduating in 2022.

In her free time, she studies everything about her arts that she can, writes her own work and regularly enjoys creating other artwork to remain as creatively inspired as possible.
